With a ground-floor twin bedroom and shower room, the holiday cottage is suitable for a wheelchair user, but please discuss your exact requirements with us before booking. If requested, we can place a ramp over the three shallow steps to the front door. There is then one more step to be negotiated into the chapel, after which the ground floor is completely level.

Dating from 1894, Finechambers Chapel is a stunning conversion of a Methodist chapel to create a luxury self-catering holiday cottage. The cottage is south facing in an elevated position, and situated off the road in the quiet hamlet of Juniper, three-and-a-half miles from the market town of Hexham and five miles from the attractive small town of Corbridge in rural Northumberland.

Please note:

In addition to the wood-burner, the chapel is heated by thermostatically controlled electric radiators.

There are no extra charges. Electricity, coal, logs, all linen, bath towels and tea towels are included. Most basics are provided, including washing-up liquid, washing machine powder, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, kitchen roll and firelighters.

We will accept one well-behaved adult dog by prior arrangement subject to an additional charge per stay. Dogs are not permitted in the bedrooms and gates are provided to keep dogs out of these rooms.
